On 61-m to year of life has died the Deputy of the state Duma and head of the Department of obstetrics and gynecology, Siberian state medical University Irina Yevtushenko, the TV channel “360”.
“The staff of the Siberian state medical University expresses its condolences on the death of the Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, head of the Department of obstetrics and gynecology, Siberian state medical University, doctor of medical Sciences, Professor Irina Dmitrievna Yevtushenko”, — stated in the press service of the SSMU.
Yevtushenko actively participated in public life, was engaged in scientific student circle of the Department of obstetrics and gynecology, made presentations at scientific student conferences.
In 1998 Irina Evtushenko was awarded the degree of doctor of medical Sciences. Since 1998 she has headed the Department of obstetrics and gynecology, Siberian state medical University under the leadership of Irina Dmitrievna had taken a leading position among similar departments in medical schools.
In 2016, Yevtushenko became a member of the state Duma of the sixth convocation of the Federal list of candidates, which put forward the party “United Russia”. She was a member of the state Duma Committee on international Affairs.
About the cause of death Irina Evtushenko was not reported.
