Kiev has decided to deepen the sea of Azov
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine instructed to send equipment for dredging works in the ports of the Azov sea. About it reports a press-service of the Ministry of infrastructure of the country.
To do this, from the Black to the Azov sea will be forwarded to the dredger “Meotida” and the icebreaker “Captain Belousov”.

In August, the Ministry of Ukraine on Affairs of refugees has expressed concern that the construction of the bridge Crimea will affect the competitiveness of the port of Mariupol, located on the coast of the Azov sea. “New requirements to the size of the vessels, according to the Mariupol port, they will not respond at least 144 ships that came into port during the past year,” the Ministry said.
According to Ukrainian officials, “restrictions will lead to the fact that in Mariupol sea port will be able to enter only vessels with a relatively smaller total capacity”.
