Oksana Pushkin has complained to the Prosecutor General on the Orthodox portal for article about “Matilda”

MP Oksana Pushkin has directed Deputy inquiry to the head of the Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika with a request to verify the information portal “Russian folk line” for involvement in extremist activities because of the article about the film “Matilda”, which also has been “intimidation” of journalists of the St. Petersburg edition of “Fontanka”. A copy of the request is available to RNS, RNS its authenticity was confirmed by the representative Oksana Pushkina.

Request Pushkina the publication entitled “”Fontanka” not laurels “Charlie Hebdo”?”, posted on September 12 in the Orthodox portal “Russian folk line”, follows from the copy of the document.

“The article expresses sharp rejection by the editorial Board, positioning themselves representative of the community of Orthodox Christians, that fact and an upcoming theatrical feature film directed by Alexei Uchitel Matilda, as well as critical comments in the media, including those expressed in the Internet edition Fontanka, to the address of the Deputy of the State Duma Natalia Polonskaya, publicly opposing the demonstrations called the film”, — stated in the request Pushkina.

The Deputy asked “to arrange a test persons “RNL” (“Russian folk line” — RNS) for involvement in extremist activities”, as well as crimes under article 144 of the criminal code “Hindrance to legal professional activities of journalists”, – stated the Deputy’s request of Oksana Pushkina.
“Indeed, such a request was sent Oksana Pushkina today, 14 September,” — said the representative of the RNS it.

Earlier Pushkin, together with the Deputy Irina Rodnina sent two parliamentary request to the head of the FSB Alexander Bortnikov and interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev with a request to inspect Association “the Christian state of Holy Russia”, its organizers, participants and supportive individuals for involvement in extremist activities and terrorism after public threats because of the movie “Matilda”.

Film directed by Alexei Uchitel “Matilda” should be released in October. The film tells about the relationship of the Russian Emperor Nicholas II and the ballerina Matilda Kshesinskaya. The film has caused a wide public resonance after the speeches of the Deputy of the state Duma Natalia Polonskaya, who declared the inadmissibility of distribution of the film, representatives of the religious organization “Christian organisation Holy Rus” made threats of arson to the cinemas that will be showing the film. Also in St. Petersburg near the office of counsel for the Director of the film Alexey Uchitel was set on fire two cars. Around the site of the arson was scattered leaflets with threats.
