American intelligence detected preparations for a missile launch in the DPRK
Moscow. September 14. INTERFAX.RU American intelligence has documented the preparation of the DPRK’s possible missile launch in the coming days, reported NBC News, citing three senior military sources.
“The North Koreans were seen over the movement of mobile missile launchers and the preparation of protected starting positions in the last 48 hours,” — said the TV channel sources.
On Monday the UN security Council unanimously supported the tightening of sanctions against the DPRK.
The document imposes a ban on the purchase of North Korean textile products, sell the country gas condensate, and also provides for inspection of cargo ships entering and leaving ports in North Korea.
The resolution imposes restrictions on the supply of petroleum products in North Korea — maximum of 500 thousand barrels to the end of this year and up to 2 million barrels a year starting in January 2018.
The resolution prohibits member countries of the UN to issue a work permit for citizens of the DPRK with the exception of cases when it comes to humanitarian assistance or programs for denuclearization.
The US President Donald trump said yesterday that he does not consider endorsed by the UN security Council for additional sanctions against the DPRK a significant event.
