MOSCOW, September 12. /TASS/. Strategic rocket forces (RVSN) conducted a test launch from the Plesetsk cosmodrome (Arkhangelsk region) solid-fuel Intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) RS-24 “YARS” silo-based missiles equipped with multiple warheads. This was reported on Tuesday in the defense Ministry.
“The main purpose of the launch is to confirm the reliability of a series of rockets of the same class. The experimental warheads arrived at the specified area on the Kura testing range on the Kamchatka Peninsula. The goals achieved, objectives met in full”, – told in the defense Ministry.
