The winner on elections of the head of Udmurtia became Brechalov

Acting head of Udmurtia Alexander Brechalov (United Russia) won in the elections of the head of the Republic, gaining 78,16% of the votes following the processing of all protocols. These data led the Chairman of the Udmurt electoral Committee Victor Kushko, RIA Novosti reported on Monday, September 11.

This is followed by the candidate from the Communist party Vladimir Bodrov, received 8.73% of the votes, Farid Yunusov (“Fair Russia”) of 4.82 percent, the liberal Democrat Timur yagofarov — 3.17 percent and Andrei Ivanov of the Communist party of social justice — 2.50 percent.

September 10, in the single voting day, residents of Udmurtia chose the head of the region and deputies of the state Council of the Republic.

The previous elections of the head of Udmurt Republic took place in 2014. The victory was gained by United Russia, Aleksandr Solovyov, who received almost 85 percent of the vote with a turnout of 43 percent. On 4 April this year, President Vladimir Putin fired Solovyov in connection with loss of trust. On the same day it became known about excitation concerning it criminal case about bribes.

The acting head of the Udmurt Republic was appointed Secretary of the Public chamber, co-Chairman of the Central headquarters of the popular front (popular front) Alexander Brechalov.
