Saakashvili held a post of the Governor of Odessa region of Ukraine from may 2015 to November 2016 and resigned at own will left a post of the adviser of the President. From 2004 to 2013 he was the President of Georgia, after which he was stripped of his citizenship and filed several criminal cases, including the embezzlement of public funds.
