Pamfilova called on the election commissions not to rush to certify election results

MOSCOW, 11 Sep — RIA Novosti. The head of the CEC of Russia Ella Pamfilova has urged the election Commission not rush to approve the results of elections September 10: the absence of complaints on election day does not mean that they will not later.

“I have a request to you — take your time again I warn that there were no complaints now on the voting day, does not mean that they will appear a bit later”, — said the head of the CEC on Monday during a videoconference with the regions.

“So please the most careful attention and not miss one significant case that should be considered before summing up,” — said Pamfilova.

She also asked the representatives of parties and candidates if they have significant information to be addressed by the regional commissions, do not be late with the filing of the complaint, and promptly report possible violations and their claims to the electoral process.

“To our colleagues in the regions can promptly review and, if necessary, and we, too, in the CEC,” — said the CEC head.
