MOSCOW, September 10. /TASS/. The Prime Minister, the Chairman of “United Russia” Dmitry Medvedev is satisfied with how was a single day of voting.
“We can testify that the elections – and there was much in this single day of voting in our country was held and were held at a high level,” he said on a conference call with electoral headquarters of regional offices of “United Russia”. According to Medvedev, the fact that the elections took place, “confirmed our supporters, and observers in total, who were at all polling stations”.
Medvedev noted that “this time the elections were not combined with the Federal campaign, but overall it did not affect their quality, and in virtually every region of our voters showed respect to elections and high activity – somewhere more, somewhere less, but everywhere the elections were held at a good level”.
Part Of The “United Russia”
The Chairman of “United Russia” stressed that the party took in this election a most active part. “We have put forward a total of about 37 thousand candidates in virtually every electoral district, and elections to the legislative assemblies, and municipal authorities and bodies of local self – government,” he said.
