MOSCOW, 9 sen — news. Syrian troops backed by Russian space forces inflicted a crushing defeat ISIS* in the area of Deir ez-Zor. This was reported in the Russian defense Ministry.
“Syrian government forces backed by the Russian space forces have made significant gains and inflicted a crushing defeat ISIS gangs near the city of Deir ez-Zor, which surpasses in importance and scale of all previous victories over the past three years”, — stated in the message.
The defense Ministry confirmed the appeared information that the Syrian troops broke through the blockade of the air base in Deir ez-Zor. The resistance of the terrorists managed to break after a massive airstrike, which caused HQs.
Currently, the Syrian government forces under the command of General Hassan Suhel, as noted in the Department, together with the garrison airbase extend the corridor between the airport and Deir ez-Zor, leading battles on the flanks.
