Kiev Russia has promised “many surprises” to the UN General Assembly

The Ukrainian side for the meeting of the UN General Assembly has in store for Russia “many surprises”. About it in interview to Agency “UKRINFORM” said the permanent representative of Ukraine to the world organization Volodymyr Yelchenko.

According to him, there are a number of initiatives that have not yet be revealed to the “former strategic partner” of Ukraine. “But they must be sure that in their way there will be many surprises”, he said.

“I can only say that it is a lot of questions. The General Assembly has six main committees that cover areas of the economy, human rights, international law, information, and each of them, you can find a lot of moments that Moscow or violated, or simply not fulfilling. Of course, this all would relate to aggression of Russia against Ukraine”, — he explained.

In addition, according to Yelchenko, on 16 October in new York held elections to the Board of the human rights. He expressed the hope that Ukraine will be selected in the new composition of this body. There you can put a lot of questions and in the Crimea, and in Donbass in the context of human rights, he said.
