Unknown in France replaced the Holy water in Church fonts alcohol

In the French village of château-Chalon unknown had replaced the Holy water in Church fonts cognac. On Saturday, September 9, reports AFP referring to the local tourist center.

The incident occurred in late August, but became aware of it only on Friday. Tourists smelled alcohol at the entrance to the local Church and asked the guide, whether it is a local tradition.

The local government initiated its own investigation, and found that in the font of Holy water unknown poured a liter of cognac. In the Church is not holding services, but because the incident was not immediately seen.

The mayor noted that probably this joke amused not everyone.

The font has been cleaned and re-filled with Holy water. The identity of the people responsible for the incident are still not established.
