Trump refused to believe in the inevitability of war with North Korea

The US President Donald trump said that he would prefer to avoid military action against North Korea, however, this option remains real. He stated this during a press conference with the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah on Thursday, September 7, Reuters reports.

“Military action is, of course, are the solution to the problem. Is the war inevitable? Nothing is inevitable,” said trump.

He added that if Washington decide to conduct a military operation against the DPRK, it will be “a very sad day for North Korea.”

The day before trump said that does not rule out military action against North Korea, however, such a development “is not a first choice”. “We will not put up with what is happening in North Korea,” — said the head of the White house.

Earlier, on 6 September, President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow does not recognize the nuclear status of Pyongyang. He pointed out that the nuclear missile program of North Korea is a violation of the resolutions of the UN Security Council and poses a threat to security in the region.

September 3, Pyongyang announced the successful test of a hydrogen bomb, designed to equip Intercontinental ballistic missiles. According to the Japanese military, a bomb was exploded with a TNT equivalent of 160 kilotons. On the same day, Moscow condemned the test, calling it a “defiant disregard” of the requirements of UN security Council resolutions.
