The island of Saint Martin: before and after hurricane “Irma”
The Ministry of defence of the Netherlands from a helicopter filmed the destruction from hurricane “Irma” on the Caribbean island of Saint Martin, half of which belongs to this European country. According to local authorities, the French part of the island destroyed by 95%.
According to the International Committee of the red cross, more than a million people have suffered from the hurricane, another 26 million are at risk.
