Saakashvili said that he goes from Poland to Ukraine

KIEV, Sep 9 — RIA Novosti. Deprived of Ukrainian citizenship to ex-President of Georgia, former Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili said that he goes from Poland to Ukraine, border crossing point “Krakovets” in Lviv region.

“Everyone, we leave in Krakovets, Ukraine”, — Saakashvili wrote on Saturday on his page in Facebook.

Earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has deprived Saakashvili Ukrainian citizenship. The administration of the President explained that he had provided false data when it is received. Saakashvili himself at that time was in USA, he later visited Poland, Lithuania and Hungary. He repeatedly said that he intends to return to Ukraine on September 10. Kiev said it was examining the request of Georgia for the extradition of the former President.

Press center of the State border service of Ukraine reported that the guards urge protesters on the day of arrival the former President of Georgia, ex-Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili to comply with the order at the checkpoints on the border with Poland.

In November 2013, Saakashvili left Georgia after the inauguration of the new President. The chief Prosecutor’s office of Georgia in absentia brought to it charges in four criminal cases. The Georgian side has repeatedly appealed to the Ukrainian with a request to detain and extradite Saakashvili. Kiev said it was examining the request of Georgia for the extradition of the former President.
