Riyadh has no plans to engage in dialogue with Doha before the announcement of Qatar his position

CAIRO, September 9. /TASS/. Saudi Arabia will not go on dialogue with Qatar as long as Doha did not publicly declare its position. On this, as reported on Saturday, Al Arabiya television channel said the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Kingdom.

“There will be no dialogue or contacts with the authorities of Qatar as long as Doha did not publicly declare its position”, — reads the statement of the Saudi foreign Ministry. It is also noted that the ongoing Qatar policy “is not conducive to building trust needed for dialogue between the parties.”

Ministry of foreign Affairs indicated that the recent telephone conversation between the crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and the Qatari leader “was held at the request of the Emir of Qatar.”

Earlier it was reported that the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman held a telephone conversation, which touched upon aspects of the ongoing crisis around the Emirate. According to available information, the Qatari leader “expressed his desire to sit down at the negotiating table” and to discuss the demands made by the four Arab States (Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain and Egypt), “with the aim of achieving common interests.”

It was also indicated that Saudi Arabia will announce the details of the last conversation and about possible solutions on this issue “after discussion and agreement with the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt.”
