Elections at various levels in the single voting day on September 10 started in some regions of Russia. At 08:00 local time (23:00 MSK) opened the polls in the East. There will be a total of more than 5.8 thousand elections and referendums.
Direct elections of heads of subjects will be held in 16 regions of Buryatia, Mari El, Karelia, Mordovia, Udmurtia, Perm Krai, Belgorod, Kaliningrad, Kirov, Novgorod, Ryazan, Saratov, Sverdlovsk, Tomsk and Yaroslavl oblasts, and Sevastopol, which is the first ever direct elections of the city head.
In addition, the election of deputies of the legislative Assembly will be held in six regions: North Ossetia, Udmurtia, Krasnodar, Penza, Saratov and Sakhalin regions.
In the capital the elections of the councils of deputies of the 125 districts — all the districts of old Moscow, in addition to the Shchukin, and in the city district of Troitsk in the New Moscow. Overall, the results of the voting will be replaced 1502 mandate. According to the Moscow city election Commission on elections of all moved 8329 candidates are representatives of 32 political parties and independent candidates were registered 7665 candidates.
