Academics have attended the HSE study about prostitutes

The study of the Higher school of Economics (HSE), on the logic of the pricing of sex services in Moscow, may be associated with the prospect of the legalization of prostitution. This opinion on Friday, September 8, was expressed on air of radio station “Moscow speaking” scientific Director of the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) Ruslan Grinberg.

As explained by Greenberg, HSE over the last 25 years is “the co-design of all reforms in Russia.” “The state of the economy, their study does not characterize. They want, perhaps in the future something to reform. Probably, it is necessary to recall that quite recently Britain has included commercial sex services in GDP, and in terms of when our GDP is not growing, maybe it just would have helped some GDP rise if legalized,” — said the scientist.

According to him, is to compare the cost of sex is absurd. “I think they have nothing more to do,” added Greenberg.

Earlier in September on the website of the HSE published the results of a study in which scientists analyzed a large resource of sexual services in Moscow. It was established that as of 2015 the average price of an hour with a prostitute — 3818 rubles.

According to researchers, the average prostitute is a girl about 30 years old, weighing 57 kg, growth of 170 centimetres and with a third breast size.
