The media learned about the lack of billion to increase salaries of medical staff in Russia

The mandatory health insurance Fund (HIF) did not have enough money to increase salaries of medical staff in the coming years. The increase in wages signified the may decrees of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. About it reports on Thursday, September 7, the newspaper “Vedomosti” with reference to the explanatory note of the Ministry of health.

The document concerns the draft budget of the Fund for 2018-2020. Its revenues are formed mainly from insurance contributions of employees for the years they are expected at the level of 1.89 trillion rubles, of 1.93 and 2.01 trillion trillion.

According to Ministry of health, this means that from 2019, the HIF will experience a shortage of funds. To cover it would need to be allocated from the Federal budget in the same year, to 95.5 billion rubles, and also 170,4 billion rubles in 2020.

At the same time the representative of the Ministry told “Vedomosti” that to comment on the draft budget prematurely.

According to the may decrees of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in the current year, the salary of doctors should be 180 percent of the average economy of the region in which they work, nurses and other medical staff — 90 and 80 percent. In 2018, these figures should be 200, 100 and 100 percent, respectively.

August 31, Minister of economic development of Russia Maxim Oreshkin said that public sector wages index in the next six months.

May orders — 11 documents with instructions to the government, which was signed by Putin in may 2012. They identified the necessary measures to improve the quality of life of Russians. Subsequently, the President declared that the decrees can be adjusted to changed economic conditions.
