The Kremlin has nothing to do with the alleged purchase of Russian bots advertising on Facebook to influence U.S. elections, told reporters on Thursday the press-Secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov.

Earlier, American media reported that, according to Facebook, during the presidential election campaign in the United States, Russian boats were buying advertising in this social network to influence the outcome of the race.

“We never heard, we do not know about it. Moreover, we do not have to do any of these things,” — said Peskov.

“We therefore ask us not to associate with this story about Facebook”, he added.
