Organization “Green patrol” has published an ecological rating of subjects of Russia at the end of last summer, reports RT on Thursday, September 7.
The cleanest region of the country called Tambov oblast. The second position in the Republic of Altai, and the third place for the Altai territory.
The most recognized dirty Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk region.
Moscow and St. Petersburg is among the ten most ecologically prosperous subjects, and Severnaya Stolitsa (4th place) walked South (7th place).
The rankings assessed the status of air, water, discharges and emissions as well as the activity of public organizations, the efficiency of the authorities and some other criteria. The list is compiled four times a year since 2007. The first line traditionally is agricultural and recent industrial regions of the country.
