The President of Russia Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the Eastern economic forum (WEF) has suggested the head of the Japanese government Shinzo Abe to raise the position of Minister Hiroshige Seko, who is in the Japanese Cabinet, including those responsible for cooperation with Moscow in the field of Economics. “The Prime Minister of Japan said that they have a special government Minister even created a Ministry which is responsible for cooperation with Russia. Maybe to increase the post of Minister in charge of cooperation with Russia? To make him Deputy Prime Minister? Him to have more administrative possibilities to involve Japanese companies to work with Russia”, — said the head of the Russian state.
He also urged the leaders of South Korea and Mongolia — moon Jae-In and Khaltmagiin Battulga — consider the possibility to allocate special people to interact with the Russian side.
September 6, Putin awarded order of Friendship by Vice-Premier of the state Council of China Wang Yang heading the Chinese delegation at the WEF. The President of Russia noted that Yang has made a great personal contribution to the development of Russian-Chinese relations. He recalled that in last year’s forum was attended by 200 Chinese companies and signed contracts worth nearly 2 trillion rubles. The total amount of investment, investments from China in the far East over the past two years amounted to more than $ 3 billion.
WEF 2017 is held in Vladivostok from 6 to 7 September.
