Poroshenko has called the conditions for the deployment of UN peacekeepers in the Donbass
Ukraine will not agree on the parameters for deploying the peacekeeping mission with the DNI and LC, the participation of representatives of the breakaway republics and Russia is unacceptable, says the President of Ukraine.
The UN peacekeeping mission must be deployed throughout the territory of the DNI and LC, as well as on the border with Russia, said President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. The participation of representatives of the breakaway republics and Russia is impossible, the words of the leader of the Ukrainian Agency UNN.
Poroshenko explained that the principles of UN peacekeeping missions exclude “the participation of the representatives of the aggressor or of the parties to the conflict.”
“There is no agreement with Russian militants part of the future UN mission can not go”, — he stressed.
Negotiations on the entry of peacekeepers or their input may not lead to the lifting of sanctions against Russia, Poroshenko added, they should remain in force “until the full restoration of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence” of Ukraine.
The deployment of peacekeepers will allow you to achieve a real breakthrough in resolving the conflict in the East of the country, reports statements Poroshenko UNIAN news Agency.

Poroshenko is not configured to consider a peaceable resolution of the conflict, said RBC Plenipotentiary representative LNR at the talks in Minsk Vladislav Danego. “He [the President] doesn’t want to try through peaceful means to resolve the conflict, if it insists to introduce the application of the UN force, which in this situation is impossible. And trying to find some other viable option for UN engagement in this specific situation — the security of OSCE observers — he immediately rejects,” said Danego.
