Killed in the crash near Smolensk were Belarusians

Five dead in an accident on the 182-kilometer highway M1 (“Moscow — Minsk”) near the village Cricket Gagarin district were citizens of Belarus. On Thursday, September 7, according to TUT.BY.

As noted, on the road collided with two heavy trucks and a Mercedes Sprinter minibus, which drove eight Belarusians. Five passengers died on the spot. Also as a result of the incident injured three people who were taken to the hospital. Two of them are citizens of Belarus, another truck driver.

“On the spot still works investigative team. Specified data on the victims”, — told in management of traffic police across the Smolensk region.

According to preliminary data, the culprit of the collision is the driver of a truck who committed leaving the lane of oncoming traffic.
