The qualifiers for the 2018 world Cup will replay a year later due to dishonest judges

The match of the qualifying tournament of the 2018 FIFA world Cup between South Africa and Senegal will be replayed due to unfair refereeing. This was reported on the website of the International football Federation (FIFA).

The meeting took place in November 2016 in Polokwane (South Africa) and ended with the score 2:1 in favor of the home team. Arbitrator Joseph Lenti working for this match, was disqualified for life by the FIFA decision in March next year in order to influence the outcome of the game.

The teams will play a second time in November. The exact date of the replay will be announced later.

Senegal and South Africa are in group D together with teams from Burkina Faso and Cape Verde. After four rounds of the Senegalese occupy the third place, the South Africans — fourth. The right to participate in the final stage of the world Cup are the team that took first and second places.
