“People have a certain stereotype, because I used to wooden houses in Russia was very high. Years need to pass to prove that wood can compete with brick, concrete panel, aerated concrete”, — said the Minister. According to him, it is necessary to popularize this material.
11 August, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that the construction of wooden houses in Russia has “huge potential”. He noted that these buildings can stand for “decades”.
In April, the idea of construction of wooden houses in Moscow endorsed Sergei Sobyanin. The capital will be a definite test “building spot” of such homes, he said.
