The court ordered Hungary and Slovakia to accept refugees

The court ordered Hungary and Slovakia to accept the refugees in accordance with the EU decision. On Wednesday, September 6, reports Deutsche Welle.

In connection with the issuance of this verdict the foreign Minister of Germany, Sigmar Gabriel, said that Budapest and Bratislava have to accept the decision and start the reception of migrants.

The head of the Hungarian foreign Minister Peter Siyyarto called the court ruling “appalling and irresponsible”. “This decision threatens the security and future of Europe”, — quotes its words Reuters. Szijjártó also added that the verdict was not according to legal principles and political considerations.

Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert fico in turn stressed that his country’s position, despite the decision of the court of justice, remains unchanged.

The EU Council agreed to allocate 120 thousand refugees in different EU countries, including Hungary and Slovakia, in the summer of 2015. Both States and the Czech Republic and Romania voted against this, then Budapest and Bratislava have filed lawsuits to the European court with a demand to recognize the decision of the Council invalid.

According to certain quotas Hungary had to place on its territory 1294 man, however, did not take any. In Slovakia had to come, 902 persons, while there were only 16 refugees.
