Angry because of the floods the red cat became a meme

The floating red cat, by American photographer Scott Olson (Scott Olson) in Houston after the hurricane “Harvey” became a meme. The first photo drew the attention of a Twitter user with the nickname Arjan.

“Look at his face, he will retaliate against every monster that dared to leave him. Go on, little cat,” wrote Arjan. His post has garnered over 315 thousand “likes” and 118 thousand posts, but also attracted the attention of users of the social network.

Microblogger sympathized with the cat and tried to figure out what happened in distress of the animal. Response posted on Twitter, local TV channel 2 KPRC, whose administration posted the picture to emerge from the water the cat.

Hurricane “Harvey” hit the Texas on the night of 26 August. First, he appropriated the fourth category of danger, but then reduced to the level of a tropical storm. According to The New York Times, natural disasters have killed at least 5 people, more than 10 injured.
