Zhirinovsky proposed to change the foreign Minister

MOSCOW, 4 September — RIA Novosti. LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky believes that Russia needs to pursue a more assertive foreign policy based on the current international situation, and therefore proposes to replace the head of the Russian foreign Ministry.

“International issues remain, and we need more hard line. From what I have started if I were President: I would start with a change of Minister for foreign Affairs. It is not good for the other situation… today I need another person who will better it”, — said Zhirinovsky told reporters.

However, he did not name the person you would like to see as the successor of the current Minister Sergei Lavrov.

The leader of the Russian liberal Democrats repeatedly made various declarations and initiatives, most of which resonated, but did not receive further development.

So, in due time Zhirinovsky offered to restore the monarchy in Russia, stating that democracy will ruin the country, and his colleagues wanted to change Russian on the Imperial anthem “God save the Tsar!”. In addition, the leader of LDPR suggested to return to the Julian calendar to celebrate Christmas 7 January and 25 December.
