Seoul conducted firing exercises in response to nuclear test by Pyongyang

Seoul conducted live firing with cruise missiles, long-range class “air-surface” in response to the sixth nuclear test by Pyongyang. On Monday, September 4, NHK reported citing the joint chiefs of the Armed forces of South Korea.

It is noted that during the maneuver worked out to strike at nuclear test site in North Korea.

In addition, the Agency “Yonhap” Washington and Seoul to discuss the possibility of placing nuclear-powered aircraft carrier off the coast of the Korean Peninsula and strategic bombers on South Korean territory.

September 3, North Korea announced the successful test of a hydrogen bomb, designed to equip Intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Pyongyang claimed that the test did not lead to a leakage of radiation or other negative environmental impacts. Japan defence Ministry previously estimated the capacity of the tested charge 70 kilotons, several times the power of the atomic bombs dropped by the U.S. on Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945.

In Seoul estimated the capacity of the DPRK tested a nuclear charge of 50 kilotons.
