In Puerto Rico declared a state of emergency due to Typhoon “Irma”

Moscow. September 4. INTERFAX.RU the Governor of Puerto Rico Ricardo Rosello declared a state of emergency due to approaching hurricane “Irma”, reports on Monday, the American TV channel Fox news.


“We have introduced all the security protocols,” said Rosello, at a press conference.

The administration of the country developed 456 shelters that can accommodate more than 62 thousand people, and procured food to more than $65 million to distribute it to residents who may be affected of flood.

According to the American meteorologists, the epicenter of the hurricane can approach the Islands of the Caribbean sea Tuesday evening, and Wednesday will approach the East coast of the United States, notes Fox news.
