Created a new theory of black holes
American physicists have proposed a new theory for the formation of primary black holes. Two studies published in the journal Physical Review Letters, reports the University of California, Los Angeles (USA).
Scientists have suggested that the initial black holes has arisen within a fraction of a second after the Big Bang, and their interaction with neutron stars leads to the synthesis of heavy elements, in particular, gold, silver, platinum and uranium.
The absorption of a black hole neutron star is about ten thousand years. This process is accompanied by reduction in size and increase in the frequency of rotation of a star, as well as emissions into the surrounding space of matter, which later formed the heavy elements.
Primary black holes, as scientists believe, were the sources for the formation of supermassive black holes in the centers of large galaxies. On the validity of the theory of the authors indicates the lack of neutron stars in the centers of galaxies.
The researchers plan to conduct computer simulations, reproducing the synthesis of heavy elements by the interaction of the primary black hole and neutron star.
