The Kremlin has expressed concern over the situation in Myanmar

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin is concerned about the situation in Myanmar.

“We have seen reports in the media, these messages, they are cause for concern, but with no real information, today the whole day was devoted to the work of bilateral Russian-Chinese relations — I wouldn’t now to do any conclusions”, — said Peskov.

In Myanmar recently has intensified the conflict between the Muslim minority and the basic composition of the population professing Buddhism. The Islamists are fighting for their own state on the territory of Rakhine state.
