“Soyuz MS-04” undocked from the ISS

The spacecraft “Soyuz MS-04” with Russian cosmonaut Fyodor by urchihin and his two American colleagues, Jack Fisher and Peggy Whitson undocked from the International space station (ISS). About it “Interfax” was informed in the mission control Center (MCC).

As told to the Agency, the ship soon leaves the area of the ISS and depart to a safe distance to begin the descent to the Ground with the engines. At approximately 3:59 MSK “Soyuz MS-04” should enter the dense layers of the atmosphere and start braking. The astronauts will return to Earth around 4:22 GMT. The landing area is 148 km from the Kazakhstan city of Zhezkazgan in the Karaganda region.

The crew Yurchikhin and Fisher (expedition ISS-51/52) held at the station for 136 days. Peggy Whitson spent in orbit of 290 days. Yurchikhin visited the ISS for the ninth time. The ISS will continue the work of the crew, taken in July of spacecraft “Soyuz MS-05” — Russian cosmonaut Sergei Ryazanskiy, American astronaut Randolph Bereznik and a member of the European space Agency (ESA) Paolo Nespoli.

Earlier it was reported that on July 29 to the ISS docked with the space ship “Soyuz MS-05” with a new crew for the station. The duration of the expedition crew ISS-52/53 will be 139 days.
