One of the missing after the landslide in the Elbrus region found dead

One of the three missing in the Elbrus region of the people found dead after a mudflow. The fate of the others remains unknown. On Saturday, September 2, reports TASS.

According to a source in emergency services of Kabardino-Balkaria, the deceased have not yet been identified, but the identity previously established, based on the description. The fate of two missing is not clear.

Due to the heavy rainfall several villages, including the resort Elbrus, remained without gas. In the zone there are about 400 people, including 22 children. 114 tourists, of which about 50 people — foreigners evacuated.

People went missing after dropping three cars into the river. In total, the cars were five people, two managed to save at once. Among lost — head of administration of the village of Elbrus Musa dzhappuev, going to the place of emergency.

The mudslide came down at approximately 02:50 am September 1 gorge Adyl-Suu. As a result, several sections of the highway washed away.
