In Poland stated the need to demand reparations from Russia for world war II

Vice-Minister of justice of Poland Patrick Yaky and MP Ian Mosinski said that Warsaw should demand that Russia pay reparations for the events of the Second world war. They declared it on air “Radio Poland”.

According to Mr. Moshenskogo, in 1921 Soviet Russia and Poland signed the Treaty of Riga which provided for the payment Poland 30 million gold rubles, and this money was never paid.

In his opinion, Russia “being the heiress of the USSR”, needs to think about the details of the Riga Treaty. “The Russians, too, should be held accountable for what they did to Poland”, — said Mr. Yaky.

Last week the Prime Minister of Poland Beata Szydlo has announced that the damage done to her country during the Second world war, were not reimbursed.

Earlier, the Minister of defence of Poland, Anthony Macierewicz said that his country has never refused reparations from Germany, because from a legal point of view, has every reason from Berlin to demand these payments.
