The former mayor of Vladivostok Viktor Cherepkov died in the Central clinical hospital of Moscow. On Saturday, September 2, with reference to his assistant Tatyana Captain informs “News. Primorye”.

In early August, 75-year-old former mayor was in the hospital. In connection with the refusal of treatment the tumor was placed in a psychiatric ward.
Shards, he was the head of Vladivostok from 1993 to 1998. In 1994, he was charged with receiving a bribe. He refused to leave the room, after which the building was stormed by riot police.
