More than 80 thousand people celebrated the Eid al-Adha in Moscow

In celebration of Eid al-Adha in Moscow region was attended by 83 thousand people. This is stated in the press release of the regional government, arrived in edition “Tapes.ru” on Friday, September 1.

Events were held in 33 municipalities of the Moscow region. The mass service was held in Noginsk and Ramenskoye areas, Podolsk, Solnechnogorsk, Mytishchi, Orekhovo-Zuevo and Shchelkovo.

In agreement with the Spiritual administration of Muslims of Moscow oblast praying and preaching was completed before the start of the school lines. “The exception was the mosque in Orekhovo-Zuevo, where a large number of believers it was decided to hold two festive services”, — said Deputy Chairman of the government of the region of Elmira Khaimurzina.

All sites are reserved for festive events, were under the protection of law enforcement on the ground were on duty to the emergency services. For sacrifices was organized on 15 sites in 13 municipalities.
