MOSCOW, 31 Aug — RIA Novosti. “Bullying” is gradually disappearing from the army, the number of cases of hazing have fallen more than 6%, said in an interview to “the Russian newspaper” the chief military Prosecutor of the Russian Federation Valery Petrov.
“Clearly reduces the number of manifestations of the so-called hazing, which has long tortured so our army. The number of cases of hazing have fallen more than 6%. The same picture with assault and battery, that is, the violence of the commanders in relation to subordinates, which in the course of this year also decreased by more than 17 per cent,” the newspaper quoted Petrov.
“Bullying” is an informal hierarchical system of relations in a closed or semi-closed group, based on discrimination on the duration of stay in the team, is a form of hazing.
