A descendant of Alexander II of Russia needs a strong leader like Putin

The great-grandson of Emperor Alexander II, the Swiss businessman and philanthropist Hans-Georg (George) Yuryev believes that Russia has always needed a strong leader, which is the current Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Russia has always needed a strong leader, as if you didn’t call him. Now Putin is, without doubt, a strong, charismatic leader”, — said Yuriev.

On the question of whether he sees himself in power in Russia questioned.

“I don’t know. In our family, don’t think about it. Although, of course, in history had an incredible turn of events,” said the great-grandson of the Emperor.

Hans-Georg (George) Yur is the grandson of Prince George Alexandrovich, the eldest son of Princess Catherine Dolgoruky and of Emperor Alexander II the Liberator.
