Vasiliev considered an unacceptable use of mobile phones in lessons

The use of mobile phones in the classroom can interfere with the educational process. This opinion was expressed by Minister of education and science Olga Vasilyeva during the all-Russian parent meeting, reports “Interfax” on Wednesday, August 30.

She noted that in many schools there are tablets, which is enough to see stuff at work.

According to the Minister, the management of educational institutions the right to provide advice on smartphones, however, she is of the opinion that they should be banned. “The school has the right to choose, but my deepest conviction that it interferes. Got a tablet, there are e-Board — why the phone to endlessly text me?” — said Vasilyev.

The Minister added that in some schools at the entrance there is a special box where children leave the classroom cell phones. For emergency contact in such institutions quite phone the teacher, summed Vasiliev.
