Moscow. August 30. INTERFAX.RU — U.S. President Donald trump said that the elimination of the damage caused by the storm “Harvey”, will cost a record amount.
“Perhaps, in the history of our country never had anything so expensive. Never had anything so historic for damage and severity of the disaster as “Harvey,” said the American leader during the trip to the victim from the elements Texas.
He called the storm a “monstrous” element, and added that “no one has ever seen this amount of water”.
According to him, “it happened in Texas, and Texas can handle anything”.
In turn, the Governor of Texas Greg Abbott stated that “after what I saw the President of the United States, his heart was broken, but he is committed to the view that Texas will be able to recover”.
As reported, at least 30 people died in Texas due to the impact of hurricane and tropical storm “Harvey”, which brought torrential rains and caused flooding.
