The fight against counterfeit goods in light industry in the beginning of the General Prosecutor’s office. Since February last year, in cooperation with the interior Ministry, FSB and the FCS for this purpose, a series of events which revealed 19 thousand violations of the law, including the organization of illegal migration and violation of the rules of public procurement. This is reported by “Izvestia”.
To eliminate violations, customs and law enforcement agencies, as well as unfair participants of the market made more than 3 thousand submissions, filed more than 6 thousand administrative cases 44 criminal cases. To administrative and a disciplinary responsibility brought about 6 thousand people. To curb trade in counterfeit goods via the Internet in the regions to the courts was sent to more than 1200 applications on which action is being taken to lock up about 800 information resources.
Experts estimate the volume of illegal products in the consumer market of the Russian Federation in 2015 to 2.5 trillion rubles.
