Commissioner for human rights in Russia Tatiana Moskalkova at the meeting of the presidential Council for development of civil society and human rights (HRC) on the issue of waste management announced the opening of the regional eco-foster near the areas most disadvantaged from the point of view of recycling. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

“Today we begin the eco-foster in those places that are most disadvantaged from the point of view of recycling and construction of facilities that violate the right to a safe ecological environment,” — said Moskalkova.

However, as reports TASS, it gave an example of new technologies of processing of garbage in the Vladimir region.

“Separated the plastic bottles, which is made from unique raw materials. The raw material like silk or cotton, which is filled with mattresses, pillows,” said she.

According to the Ombudsman, last year, in her address of the device it is two times more complaints about the problem of clogging of the territory. “For every complaint there are hundreds and thousands of people’s lives, are not only experiencing discomfort from the fact that I live next to the landfill of garbage, but from what they suffer, from the fact that their children develop in an unfavorable environment,” — said Moskalkova.

During the meeting, according to the Agency, the HRC and the Ministry of environment, signing a permanent cooperation agreement for the improvement of the mechanism of public control in the field of environmental protection.

“We are interested in methods of recycling plastic bottles, aluminum cans, glass containers, said before the meeting, the head of the presidential Council on human rights Mikhail Fedotov. — And the experience of Magas (Ingushetia) is interesting because there are special terminals for collecting unwanted clothing, shoes, toys. These things then get a second life, thereby solves the problem of getting rid of garbage and care of socially unprotected categories of citizens”.

2017 is the year of ecology in Russia. The government, in particular, developed the project “Clean country” which purpose is to reduce the negative impact on the environment by reducing the share of disposal of solid municipal waste. In the framework of the project it is planned the construction of several factories for the production of energy from waste.
