Deputy foreign Minister Igor Morgulov can replace Andrey Denisov, on a post of the Ambassador of Russia in China

Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Igor Morgulov can replace the current Russian Ambassador to China Andrey Denisov, in his post, according to “Izvestia”, citing sources in diplomatic circles.

Denisov, as noted, may leave his post in the first half of 2018. He is the head of the diplomatic mission in China since 2013. Morgulov as a candidate for the post called for the reason that he is the Deputy foreign Minister for Asian destinations, and has sufficient knowledge and experience with the Chinese region.

“Indeed, discuss the prospect of replacing Andrey Denisov, Igor Morgulov as Ambassador to China. At the moment the candidacy of Deputy Minister Morgulov — main”, — said one of the sources of the newspaper.

Among the reasons for the replacement Denisov on Margulova the newspaper’s sources called the probability of Denisov’s appointment to the post of assistant to the President on foreign policy issues.
