Commander of the aerospace defence forces of Russia Viktor Bondarev said that in Syria there has come crisis, and soon the terrorists will be defeated. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
“Thanks to the work of the aerospace forces of the Russian Federation in Syria has reached a turning point, there are serious gains in the Syrian army. There is destruction of terrorists and the liberation of the territories. I think in the near future there will be broken the backbone of terrorism, and Syria heals a peaceful life” , — said Bondarev.
According to the commander, the Russian air force has achieved in Syria brilliant results. This was made possible thanks to the analysis of fighting application of aircraft and helicopters, and improved technology.
In Syria, the air temperature exceeded 50 degrees Celsius. It was a test for equipment and people, but allows you to thoroughly examine all required improvements, the commander noted.
In 2015 between Russia and Syria signed an agreement on the stationing of Russian aircraft on Syrian territory.
