AP: trump wants to return to police access to military technology

WASHINGTON, August 28. /TASS/. The President of the United States Donald trump wants to return to police full access to military technology and equipment which can be used to disperse unauthorized demonstrations.

On that Sunday reported the Agency Associated Press (AP), the disposal of which were documents confirming the intention of the President to sign the appropriate Executive order.

Earlier, the precursor to the trump Democrat Barack Obama has limited the ability of police to use military equipment.

According to the Agency, the current occupant of the White house wants to fully restore the program, under which “assets of disposal may be diverted in aid” to local law enforcement agencies to better protect the “public safety and reduce crime,” reads the document.

Speech, in particular, grenade launchers, small arms, ammunition, and heavy armored vehicles.

Perhaps the intention of the trump re-open the police access to army warehouses on Monday will announce the Minister of justice Jeff sessions. As AP says, they asked police to return the right to use military equipment and weapons in order for employees to protect themselves during terrorist attacks or shooting incidents.

Obama has limited the effect of the program in 2015 amid a wave of public criticism after a crackdown by authorities to riots in Ferguson (Missouri), triggered by the murder of a white policeman black teenager Michael brown in the summer of 2014.
