The Russian Embassy in great Britain warned the Russians about the terrorist threat
Moscow. 26 Aug. INTERFAX.RU — the Embassy of Russia in London on Saturday repeated warning about a terrorist threat in connection with the attack that occurred the night before at Buckingham Palace.
“We remind the citizens about the serious terrorist threat level in the UK. Once again we invite you to be vigilant, to avoid places of a mass congestion of people” — said in a statement, diplodonta.
In this regard, Russians are encouraged to refrain from visiting the carnival in Notting hill in London, which will be held on 27 and 28 August.
On Friday evening the 26-year-old man parked in the wrong place at Buckingham Palace not far from the police car. At attempt of detention he resisted, shouting “Allah Akbar”. He was slightly injured. Later he was taken to the hospital.
Carnival in Notting hill is one of the largest street festivals in the world. It is annually visited by over a million people.
