Rescuers resumed the operation to search for missing passenger crew bus, which fell on 25 August in the sea off the unfinished pier near the village of Volna in Krasnodar region. About it reports on Saturday, August 26, TASS with reference to regional management of the Ministry.
Divers will inspect the bottom of the Black sea in the fall. A day earlier, they made more than 60 dives to survey the waters used four boats.
The bus was carrying workers of the company “Tamanneftegas”, as well as contractors engaged in the construction of the pier. According to specified data, as a result of the incident injured 33 people, killing 18 inhabitants of Bashkiria, Krasnodar region, the Crimea and Kostroma region. Later one of them, working Michael Sorokoletova, was reported missing.
Local authorities called the incident the cause of the brake failure.
The investigative Committee opened a criminal case on violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles, as well as on the provision of services not meeting safety requirements. Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov instructed to conduct an unscheduled inspection of the carrier after the accident.
