Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered law enforcement agencies to thoroughly understand the causes of the recent large fires that occurred in Rostov-on-don and Volgograd region. On Saturday, August 26, with reference to the press service of the Kremlin, reports TASS.

“Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov by phone reported to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on the progress of liquidation of fires and their consequences in the Volgograd region and Rostov-on-don. The Minister did not rule out the possibility of arson,” — said the press service.

“The President instructed the Russian government to continue providing all necessary assistance to the victims of the fires, and law enforcement agencies is to thoroughly understand the causes of the incident”, — is told in the message.
